In-home Santa visits
A real-bearded Santa comes to your house, greets every child by name, hears the wish lists, hands out the gifts you set aside, and poses for as many photos as you want. About 30 minutes, in your own living room.

Every visit is a little different because every family is. This is the shape of a standard one, so you know exactly what you are paying for before you call.
A real beard and a real suit
This is the part parents care about most and it is the easiest thing to get wrong. There is no elastic strap, no synthetic beard, no costume-shop suit. Children look closely, and older siblings look hardest of all, which is precisely why it matters.
Santa is also fully background-checked and insured. You are inviting a vetted professional into your home, at a moment when your children are being encouraged to trust him completely.
He arrives already knowing them
Before the visit you send names, ages and a few details: who lost a tooth, who is nervous around strangers, who has been asking for the same thing since August. Santa arrives knowing all of it.
That is the difference between a costumed visitor and Santa Claus. A four year old who is greeted by name, and told Santa heard she has been helping with her baby brother, does not question anything that happens next.
Thirty unhurried minutes
A standard visit runs about half an hour: a greeting for each child, wish lists heard properly rather than rushed, a short story, then the gifts you handed over in advance given out by Santa himself.
Nobody is hustled along to make the next booking. If a shy child needs ten minutes to come out from behind a parent, there is room for that. Longer visits can be arranged if you have a larger group or want more time for photos.
The photos are yours
There is no photo package and no set backdrop. Set up by your own tree, and take as many pictures as you like across the half hour, on whatever cameras and phones you have.
A little preparation makes a real difference to how they come out. Pick your spot a day ahead, check the lighting at the same time of day as the visit, and use a sturdy straight-back chair without arms. The tips for a great visit page covers the full setup in seven short points.
How booking works
Nothing is booked automatically and no deposit is taken online. You send a request or call, a person reads it, and you get a phone call back to confirm the date and talk through the details.
Pricing depends on your town, the date, and the type of visit rather than a fixed list, so you get a straight quote with no obligation. December weekend evenings are the first slots to go across all 33 towns, and many families rebook the same week each year, so if a Saturday matters to you, ask early and keep a weeknight in mind as a fallback.
Questions about home visits
How long is an in-home Santa visit?
About 30 minutes as standard. That covers greeting each child by name, hearing wish lists, a short story, handing out the gifts you set aside, and photos by the tree. Longer visits can be arranged for bigger groups.
What does an in-home Santa visit cost?
It depends on your town, the date, and the type of visit rather than a fixed price list. Send a request or call (978) 766-8218 for a straight quote with no obligation. No deposit is taken online.
Do we provide the gifts?
Yes. Hand Santa the gifts in advance, clearly labeled with names, and he gives them out during the visit. Keep a couple of small extras on hand if surprise guests are likely.
What do we need to have ready?
A sturdy straight-back chair without arms, a decorated spot with room behind it for group photos, and somewhere for Santa to park out of sight of the youngest children. That is genuinely most of it.
Which towns do you visit?
33 towns across the North Shore and Greater Boston, from Amesbury and Newburyport down through Danvers, Peabody and Salem to Marblehead and Nahant. See the locations page for the full list, and ask anyway if your town is not on it.
How far in advance should we book?
As early as you can. December weekend evenings fill first and many families rebook their same slot year to year. Weeknights stay open longer.
